Two more children murdered!
Two little girls!! Ages 11 and 13, walking down a country road in Weleetka, Oklahoma!! That’s right walking down a country road they were shot and killed with two different guns! Shot in the chest and head!! Are there two killers? And get this, the killer or killers were NOT found! The grandfather went looking for his granddaughter and her friend, and yes, this is how he found them, in a ditch!! Freaking Pathetic!! I am so mad!! How can this just happen? All of these kids being murdered like its nothing! God bless these children and their families and help them in their time of grievance and sorrow. Everyone please pray for their families and pray that their killer or killers are brought to justice!!

I saw this, just two innocent little girls. It is baffling why somebody would do that, I almost get the feeling from reading the story, it was random and done by younger boys. Who knows, I hope they find out who did it.

Shelley, where did you hear about the story? I only just seen it in the People Mag. But I am really disturbed!! My God-daughter lives in a small country town up in OK. and roams free up there to do as she likes!! Its crazy, you cant even live in the country and have your kids safe!

Re: Two more children murdered!
I just feel that the lives of children are not valued anymore - were they ever!!! We have to realise now that we - the parents are the only ones who can protect and look out for our children. It is sad to think this, but we can no longer have the innocence to believe that if our children, god forbid, get into some sort of trouble, to rely on thinking that there will be people who will turn an eye, stop what they are doing, and help. As sad as it is, I still think what happened to tiny James - being marched through busy streets, bruised and looking scared, being hit and kicked for everyone to see - I still think this can easily happen, because of the lack of caring from some people in society.

Re: Two more children murdered!
true, children are the easiest to bully and hurt because they are small, innocent and defenseless. People dont want to get involved, it happens everyday. I just watched a clip on tv with my husband on shocking things caught on camera, and this estranged husband went and viciously stabbed his wife in broad day light, over and over and people kept walking past. Finally a security guard saw and pulled him off, he stabbed her eight times infront of several men and women all who kept walking after seeing what was going on and then stared straight ahead as if they didnt see. I would have atleast tried to get help for her if I had nothing to defend myself with. I dont know anymore about people, I think we should teach our children as soon as they are old enough to understand, how to defend themselves and what to look for in suspicious behaviors from adults and other children. We have to talk about things with them that our parents never dreamed about talking with us, because if they are not too young to be molested, kidnapped, abused, tortured, murdered, they arent too young to learn what to look at in suspicious situations. My nephews take karate classes and self defense classes and they are only 5 and 6 years old.

Re: Two more children murdered!
Shelley, I was watching that exact same show the other day!! Did you see how they were just walking along and then out of nowhere, he just started stabbing her? Crazy!! And everyone was looking and just kept on walking, even a grown man!! Pathetic I must say!! Poor girl! I couldn’t deal with any crazy man like that! But it does show how no one cares about anything anymore, just like in little James' case, people seen him and just kept going about their own business. Well, call me nosey, because I am all up in other people business when it comes to things like this!!

Re: Two more children murdered!
Tiffany, I agree that you should be nosy like that since it saves lives. I think some people may not get physically invovled in certain situations because they fear for their own safety. However, that just doesn't apply in the case of small children, as in James' situation. Also, even if a bystander is frightened, s/he can still phone the police straight away or even shout to create a scene so others notice. I don't know how people live with themselves who ignore children in need. It really makes me angry but I'm happy there are a lot of people out there who care enough to get invovled.

Re: Two more children murdered!
And see that is what makes no sense to me. To see something horrible and keep on walking, ok if your scared, go get help some help, don’t just look and think OMG and keep going! But you know, God will punish those that do this!! And praise those who help. We just need to keep this in mind when we see bad things going on!! I am a very passive person, that is until I see something going on and then I have a tendency to become aggressive. I am also always very aware of my surroundings; I always pay close attention to everything, even while I’m driving. It is so second nature to me, so when I see something that should not be going on I always intervene no matter what the cost. I wish everyone would do this!! TTFN!!
