SKIN ART CREATIONS TATTOO EMPORIUMS ROUND TABLE
THIS IS A TATTOO, PIERCING & BODY MODIFICATION MESSAGE SITE FOR THE PROFESSIONAL AND THE ENTHUSIAST. We have put up this messge board to give fellow body art enthusists a place to voice their opinions, concerns or to ask questions. If we do not have the answer maybe someone else will. We did not put this board up so that narrow minded, misinformed people could verbally attack others posting here. There has been a few people who have done this in the past and it will not be tolerated. This is a professional information forum designed to be a service for everyone. If you feel the need to attack, strike out or verbally abuse anyone on this site, then your posting will be deleted and you will be blocked from using this board or the chat room. I do not have a problem with people posting their opinions on this site (thats what it is here for), just please make sure that it is an informed opinion next time, that you do not attack anyone and that you know what you are talking about before making an ass of yourself! THANK YOU! -The GYPSY-

Tattoo Questions...
ok, so I really want to get a tattoo. I've wanted the same one for the last 5 years it's just a matter of getting the courage=). I want one similar to the dragon on Angelina Jolie's arm - but I don't want it on my arm. I'm torn between my lower back, and my hip/stomach. I was just wondering which would hurt more, and if I gain weight on my stomach how would that affect a tattoo. Not a lot of weight=) Any help or answers would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Re: Tattoo Questions... Personally, I would opt for the lower back for your tattoo design. Yes, your skin will stretch and change shape if you lose, gain weight or get pregnant. I hope this has been of some help to you and if I can assist you further, please let me know. The GYPSY |

I have a question for anyone that can point me in the right direction...I am a current grad student who is working on her paper regarding the laws and tattoo, and was wondering if I could ask anyone if they happen to know who is the most liberal and who is the most conserative when it comes to tattoo and the law. I also currently have 3 tattoo and 1 pirecing, any help in this direction would be much appricated! Thank you! |

Lower back is always the most tender. Slight weight gain should not effect the tattoo.

I have a full backpeice and tattoos covering my rib cage. both were very tender, but i'd have to say my lower back hurt the most. But, I'd still suggest getting the tattoo on your lowerback, considering that it will look great, and you wont have to worry about stretching it. just remember, it only feels like hot cat scratches, and the pain is definantly worth it.
