SKIN ART CREATIONS TATTOO EMPORIUMS ROUND TABLE
THIS IS A TATTOO, PIERCING & BODY MODIFICATION MESSAGE SITE FOR THE PROFESSIONAL AND THE ENTHUSIAST. We have put up this messge board to give fellow body art enthusists a place to voice their opinions, concerns or to ask questions. If we do not have the answer maybe someone else will. We did not put this board up so that narrow minded, misinformed people could verbally attack others posting here. There has been a few people who have done this in the past and it will not be tolerated. This is a professional information forum designed to be a service for everyone. If you feel the need to attack, strike out or verbally abuse anyone on this site, then your posting will be deleted and you will be blocked from using this board or the chat room. I do not have a problem with people posting their opinions on this site (thats what it is here for), just please make sure that it is an informed opinion next time, that you do not attack anyone and that you know what you are talking about before making an ass of yourself! THANK YOU! -The GYPSY-

What to use on Red bumps/Question

I have red bumps around my tattoo and a red rash around my tattoo and i have 2 or so bumps inside my tattoo
1.) Will the bumps take away from the color when the rash/bumps are gone?
2.) Can i use a Bactine Lotion or a Lanacane Anti-bacterial First aid spray on the red bumps/rash to stop the itching? I have already and it works good i was just wondering if it will have any bad affect on the outcome of the tattoo.

I have had this tattoo for 2 months now and i just had it touched up, it only had a small amount of red bumps when i got the tatt at first but now its alot, probily 15 bumps in total and a rash all around my tatt (I got a cross), thanks for the help, Boomer

Re: What to use on Red bumps/Question

Sounds like you have had an allergic reaction to the ointment you used. Discontinue use of all ointments, sprays and creams and just let the tattoo dry out. The red bumps will go away and should have no effect on your tattoo. DO NOT use the same healing ointment on your next tattoo. Use an alternative such as Bagbalm or Aloe Vera.
