GOLF committee outing to BSE
match up the squad members to the quotes and their scores at Bury cheap course (par 62): rob, seedo, storm. 110, 94, 95 quote #1:"yeah i went up the range to practice, but i wasnt gonna tell you" quote #2:"i love golf", "i hate golf" quote #3:"I've got such a lead now, you're not even in the picture" (true) quote #4:"I normally play to around 30 over par" quote #5:"i hate golf", "i love golf" quote #6:"i think i'll change ball, that might help" quote #7:""rob, what club are you taking on this hole?" quote#8:"well at least you cant be subbed on golf" quote#9: "anyone got any food?" quote #10, in response to guy asking for surname,: "Smith" anyone getting all right wins a vb related prize from the golf committee. also, anyone who out drives Tim deserves to play at Augusta, check out his length! finally, anyone who fancies joining the Golf C'tee, should send their Golfing CV to #6 #6 |

#3, you have done very well on the quotes, but what about the scores?!!? #6 freemo, if you want to join the GC, then you need to get a part time job, like sales or teaching! |

#3, if you had read it properly, you would have seen that part of the challenge was to correctly line up the scores with ther players...therefore, you have indeed done this, storm way off the pace of the other two, who played out an awesome last hole. Reed, one shot ahead, toppped his tee shot onto the ladies tee, whereas the dovastator played safe, right of fairway. reed put his second on the fringe, and then remarked to RD, "dont put it in the bunker" which he abruptly did. big pressure. he lobbed out, and left himself with a 18 ft putt for the match. he duly obliged, sending the crowd of 2 quite literally, BONKERS. But reed still had an eight footer for the draw, so RD had to get back off his knees, and watch agonisingly as it lipped out. Storm in fact parred the hole, so it will be his "honour" next time out. but he did finish 15 shots behind, so dont rub it in at training! #6 |
