Really upseting!!!
It seems like I have played my last game ever with you guys after what I have been told! I find really upseting that some people felt like they had to moan because I played 2 sets against Rhinos and 1 against Students! I agree that, as a non-member (because I can't afford to be member for both CVC and NVC), I don't court time. But when you were short players in Novembre against CVC5 and my belgian friends were visiting, I came along to help out out and THEY did the scoring!!! Or whenever you needed refing, line judging, scoring, I was there again to help you out! I have helped every single National League game played at home!!! Or even with broken fingers, when you had 5 players against CVC4 - CVC5, I help you out AGAIN. And I did it because i like being involved! But when someone is telling me that players are moaning because they sat on the bench because of me, and it's not fair because they are members, that makes me think: WHat am i doing here??? WHere were those moaners when we needed scorers? or when we only had 5 players???? Im sorry for the others who never say anything, and I enjoyed playing with you. But i don't feel like coming along or helping you out anymore! Hope i can still see some of you outside NVC. |

I assume you are reacting to me telling Matt that it isnt right that you take the place of people on court when you are not intending to pay membership. Nobody has moaned, it is just the rules. Why should anyone get away without paying membership, then want the same privilages. Aurore, my dear, i spoke to you in December and asked you whether you wanted to pay membership, and explained that if you chose not to then you would only be able to play if we were short of players. You agreed because you couldnt afford to play both NVC & CVC. We are grateful that you have helped out for NL games, but you have always done it on the basis that you get a free session or 2 (apart from last wednesday when i was grateful), so it has helped you out too. I am really sorry, you are disappointed, but you should ring me rather than getting third hand information from Matt, and then you would just be upset with me rather than anyone else (thats me, who has the wonderful job of trying to keep this club afloat). And despite you being upset with me, i too hope you talk to me outside of NVC and i hope we havent seen the last of you xx #7 |
