What is that Semihollow on your album cover?
Kai, Can you ID that semihollow/chambered bass you are holding on your album cover? It looks very classy - what do you like about it, and are there any particular tracks that show it off well? Thanks, -Will Greer |

Hi Will, The Bass is a "Human Base" 6 str. acoustic fretless from Germany. It is a prototype and there is only one around. It is featured on a few tracks on the album "sky" by bill douglass best wishes, Kai

Thanks, Kai. Much appreciated. I hope that bass becomes more widely available. It's a hollowbody with a nice clean design that isn't necessarily retro, like most hollowbodies are. Really digging your stuff for a long time. Whenever I spin "Babaluwaye", it's good for no fewer than four re-plays! -Will |
