Bjarton Isabella (Hagstrom HC4)

I have recently found my dads old 1971 Bjarton Isabella guitar in the attic (climate controlled in a hard case) and I was wondering what the price of this really nice looking guitar is or a rough estimate.

Here are some pictures:

I can get more pictures upon request.

Re: Bjarton Isabella (Hagstrom HC4)

Hi Lars. I recently sold an almost identical HG602 for just over GBP200. It was not perfect as it had dome 'dishing' on the top, but otherwise was in very good condition. I don't know if this represents the instrument's 'real' value, but it may give you an indication of a possible sale price.

Re: Bjarton Isabella (Hagstrom HC4)

Hello;

So, in good condition, especially with the sound hole insert, and a case, this may bring $450 - 500, USD, on a good day (somewhere around 3280 SEK.

Do you know for sure that is 71? I think is a 60's. Give me the serial and I can date it for you.

Re: Bjarton Isabella (Hagstrom HC4)

Hi,

I have a Bjarton Isabella, serial# 91933.
Could anyone help me identify the year it was made?
It is in original, fantastic condition with the original case (inside is orange), guitar strap and capo. Most of all, it sounds really good! Thanks for your help!
