Strings on an old Hagstrøm guitar

Hello. I have an old Hagstrøm Oslo Guitar that my wife inherited from her late mother that has been collecting a lot of dust and dirt.

There's a label inside of it, numbered 15 - then 35733 - in hand writing :) ... This number is also stamped at the top of the head.

Firstly, i would like to know what sort of strings I should put on this beauty, but also all other information you could know about the series.

Also - in cleaning it up and attempting to fix cracks in the finish and such - any advice?

I should also mention that I have a new Viking that my wife bought me for my birthday recently - ain't I lucky?

I am a musician using these guitars on my recording, so if you're interested my website is http://www.finnarild.com

Cheers, Finn Arild
