Lee, no experience myself of sterling pipes and of course pipe is critical to carb setup. anyone else used a sterlign pipe on 5 port top end? good luck. eddy

the sterling pipe is nearly the same as a scorpion pipe .or is that still no use to you.

not keen on scorpion. you need to rag it to get a power band. you are so much better off with a simonini. not the best made pipe in the world and diff to fit but good sweet spot. also at £65 not the end of the world when it falls to pieces every three years. good luck. eddy

Eddy, How do you rate the Sito Plus. I like the fact that they are a standard fit and they are of course a reasonable price.

pretty good and well made. reasonable spread of power but not as good as a full length expansion chamber.

simoninis on the other hand are difficult to fit, not made very well but offer a good power band in the right place. pitty they can't be morphed together. eddy

Its the difficult to fit and not made very well that puts me off. I also like the idea of keeping my spare wheel where it is. Does the Simonini affect the wheel?

No cos the simonini exits on the engine side so doesnt affect the spare wheel, also the fit depends, somtimes they fit easy and sometimes they can be a real pain in the butt to fit! its a lottery!
