ETO would like to hear more of your views - possibly controversial - about opera, stimulated by our productions.
To start things off, ETO's General Director James Conway stakes his ground with some of his feelings about language and opera below: we hope that we will get some of your responses on this message board afterwards.
This discussion is stimulated by ETO's forthcoming production of 'Teseo', which will be sung in Italian with the original English word-book displayed in surtitle form. |
