Fished from 2 til dark today. Should say that I drove around for 3 hours and fished for an hour. Launched at Ivy Hill. Started at Eastland. Lots of birds-no fish. Went to Butchers, rudds, Panhandle, and some other minor tributaries with no luck. Found some bait but no fish. Decided to try the mouth of Butchers again on the way home and stumbled across a small school at 5pm. Managed to get a few on and a couple in the boat before dark. No keepers, but another really nice day on the lake for January. Anyone else find any fish today? |
