Fished several creeks Saturday and Sunday, and caught fish just about everywhere. Ran into several schools feeding on butter beans in deeper water, pushing bait up.Those fish were in the 5 to 7 pound range. Only caught one fish in less than 10 feet of water, but was a 13 pounder. All fish were caught on floats and boards. Believe it or not, the 13 pounder was only 30 and a half inches long. I'm seeing very FAT fish. Must be all the butter beans. If these fish keep feeding like this, the future will be bright. I expected to see more fish going shallow, but that cold snap must have stalled them a bit.

Re: Report

Glad to see you found them, Old School. I fished the Satterwhite area on Sat afternoon and only had one hit.

It was a great day to be on the water, though.

Tight lines.
