Sunday Fishing Report

Sidekick and I slipped out to the lake on Sunday. We launched at Ivy Hill and looked back in Eastland Creek, Panhandle and Butchers. Butchers was the winner with the most birds. Water temp was 44 degrees. We ended up with one Striper for the day. caught her on a down rod 30 feet down on a small (almost crappie size) minnow.
I am ready for the weather to start warming up.

Re: Sunday Fishing Report

Thanks for the report, Crawdad. Did you try a wide assortment of bait or would you recommend the smaller minnows exclusively? Is there any shad around those areas mentioned?

Re: Sunday Fishing Report

Thanks for talking me out of going. Looks like everybody had a slow weekend fishing.
