Monday fishing report
We fished up in the creeks on Monday and boated several stripers. In the morning all the fish came off bass Minnows on flatlines and planer boards. In the morning the fish where in the back of the coves in 8 - 10 feet of water and later in the day they had moved out into deep water. Later in the day we caught fish on down rods 30 foot down in 55 foot of water. Water temperature was in the high 40's. Great to get out on the lake! Great report, Crawdad! Were those the Jumbo minnows or just the large bass? Man, I have to get up there this weekend after you and teacher had such good reports!! The house repairs will have to wait... |

We stopped at Bobcats and picked up Jumbo Minnows. I think he gets $14.99 per pound. You normally get 3 or 4 dozen baits depending on how big they are running. The bait that we bought on Monday where some nice 3" to 4" baits. We should be up on the lake on Sunday if I can get a kitchen pass. See you on the lake Crawdad |
