Saturday Tournament

The Spring Tournament will be held this Saturday, March 29th. There is still time to join the club and submit the entry form if you’re interested. Just print page 4 of the adobe file of the newsletter (see link below). You can mail the form to Norm, or drop it off at R.J.’s Country Store on Route 39 at the corner of Hibernia (just north of Townsville) by Friday evening. Start fishing time is 7am Saturday anywhere on the lake on your honor. You must be present by 4pm Saturday at R.J.’s Country Store to receive your weigh-in ticket. At the weigh-in, please remember to keep fish in the cooler at all times, except for the actual weigh-in and for any pictures. Additionally, please do not lay fish on the ground in an effort to show respect and minimize the public exposure of dead animals. Remember that fish will be kept for the general membership meeting fish fry the following Saturday (exception if fish will be mounted).

Good Luck,
Scott

Re: Saturday Tournament

LLB, do you know of other tournaments going on Saturday? Reason: would be nice to know which launch areas to avoid due to parking and congestion.

Re: Saturday Tournament

Hey, LBB. Just mailed my entry form this weekend and looking forward to getting involved with the club this year. Do you folks need any help with the fish fry? Judging from my fishing prowess this year I doubt I will contribute much to the freezer but I would be glad to help in the kitchen...

Re: Saturday Tournament

Good point Looseties...according to the link below, there is a 30 boat bass tourney out of Northbend and a 75 boat bass tournament out of Occoneechee on Saturday.

JB,

We will need help cleaning fish after the weigh-in on Saturday....Ramrod and Termite are always looking for help if you could bring a filet knife and stay after. We have a food committee that would love to have your help. Gene, who is the head of the food committee that JB can contact?

Re: Saturday Tournament

I should be able to help. According to the weatherman we may have a little wind to contend with....and dropping temps.

Re: Saturday Tournament

Folks, I've had a death in the family and will not be able to fish the tourney or help afterwards. I will be able to help at the meeting. Let me know.
