I have been assisted in the past by the gracious crewmembers of the Mackenzie in this endeavor. I am trying to locate any officer/enlisted who assisted YN2 Thomas Pinkney, when he left the ship at 1824 on Friday 16 June 1972 on emergency leave. His widow has a claim pending with the Dept. of Veterans Affairs for cause of his death due to Agent Orange. However, we need to prove he went to DaNang and waited further transport to San Diego.
