Hello Brenda,

My volunteer did a lookup for you and here is what she said.

That they were not listed in the Elk Township 1894 plat map or in the surrounding cemetery records.

I am trying to find info on the Osborn family. They appeared in Sanilac Co. in 1880, living in Elk Twp. If anyone has info please contact me, will be glad to share what I have. I also would like to know if anyone has access to the land records in Sanilac Co., or where I could find the info. I am not sure if my people owned property in Sanilac or not, they seemed to have moved around before finally settling in Monroe Co., MI.(they were in Monroe Co. in 1900).
