Jeremiah and Hanna Collins
Could someone please help me with some missing pieces of my relatives lives/deaths. My Great-Great Grandfather, Jeremiah Collins was born in France in 1835, found in Michigan in 1858 living in Oceana and purchasing 320 acres in Township 13, Range 18W. In 1862 he married Hannah Mullen (born in Ontario, Canada in 1843)at St. Stephen's Church in Port Huron. By this time they were living in Carsonville vacinity and Washington Township in Salilac County. They had 10 children; Mary, John, Francis(my Great Grandfather), Marcella, Ellen, Rose Ann, Nicholas, Louisa, Teresa and Bernard, from 1863 - 1882. I last found Jeremiah and Hannah in the 1880 census but from there they are lost. Some of their children came to Oregon around 1900... John, Francis, Ellen, Teresa, and I think Bernard.
Please let me know is you know or have found them in a local cemetery, church record, obituary, etc. and what if anything the tombstones say. I am also trying to find out how and when Jeremiah arrived from France and hopefully his parents names.
