Someone has a family tree on ancestry.com, which gives his date of birth and place as Oct. 22, 1904 Port Austin, Huron County, Michigan. Also they show him in the 1910 census as Justine Gareau and he is an inmate at St. Vincents Orphanage, Detroit, Wayne Co., Michigan. also looks like his mother married a Andrew Brennan, so must have been a divorce
