De Anza Nursing students can receive a 25% discount at www.skyscape.com for PDA (Palm Pilots etc.) nursing software (dictionaries, drug guides, lab/diagnostic...) You can look and investigate software ad lib, but DO NOT put item(s) in your 'shopping cart' first then go back and follow the directions for the discount; it won't work! When you're ready to buy, follow the directions below.
(1) Go to: www.skyscape.com/promotion and enter "???????" for the promotion code (no quotes and all lowercase), and click on "Submit". You will automatically be in Skyscape's shopping cart with the 25% discount enabled. NOTE: Do not enter seven "question marks" for the promotion code! The correct code is posted in the lower right corner of the bulletin board outside the nursing lab. Remember, it is all lowercase letters.
(2) Continue with your shopping.
(3) At the end proceed to 'check out'. You will see the 25% discount applied at this point. Please note that the discounts do NOT apply to value packages, and Pocket Medicine titles. If you decide to purchase a Skyscape "Constellation" you will receive an additional $3 off the Constellation price (not 25%).
(4) Please enter you Visa, MasterCard or AmEx and complete your transaction. The serial number(s) for the product(s) you purchased, as well as the installation instructions, will be sent to you by email.
Many of the Skyscape titles have a feature on the website called "View Contents". That features allows you full access to the program (on the web only) for about 4 hours once a week. An alternative is to download a trial version. You will then have limited access to the content on your PDA. Either method will give you a reasonable idea if you like the program or may prefer another.
