November 22, 2008 at Vallejo Community Center, the Marusa Association celebrated its 28th fiesta in honor of our beloved patron St. Vincent Ferrer., astonishingly, a very successful gatherings of Maribojocanon's as far as N.Y., Florida, Idaho and Oregon and elaborating their stories of success. These devout devotees to St. Vincent were energized by their desire to follow and spiritually rejuvinate their thoughtfulness and heartfelt devotion to St. Vincent.
Four priest officiates the mass and was headed by Rev. Fr. Dodo Redulla from Texas. After the mass was over a sumptuous variety of foods ( 3 big Inasal)were serve at the dinner table everybody savor the taste of home and alleviate the dull moments and pain of loneliness being away from our native land.
We will continue to make favorable steps to renovate
and restore the broken pieces of the two Marusa Ass. It is always anticipated that through the intercession of our saint Vincent Ferrer the Lord will give us a cure to sip the taste of home through our continued enthusiasm among the members.
A new association officers were elected, Alex Fiel, President, Titing Belara, Vice Pres., Trely Fiel, Secretary, Greg Bacareza, Treasurer.
The outgoing officers will continue to make plans and advises the success of a new era.

THe members of the MARUSA ASS. are pleased and happy to learn the new plans and dreams of the new young generation officers of the MARUSA ASS. They are setting a new goal to enhance and establish a climate of confidence that encourages members to be more concern for the benefit of the association.
We have recieved some relatives and friends of some of the members from other states and overseas congratulating the new officers and some promise to support for the enhancement of the association.
It is anticipated that Nov. 2009 fiesta celebration will have a more lively activities and happier occassion.
