My name is Franklin R. Smith. I wish to submit my one-hour cable television pilot, “1600 Slauson”, to you for consideration.
Logline: After his client is murdered, a mental health psychologist for at-risk foster children and gang members battles his own psychological demons when he sets off on a dangerous quest to find an AWOL high profile client.

A little about myself. Much of “1600 Slauson” is inspired by my own personal experience. For many years, I provided therapy to at-risk abused foster kids and gang members in South Central L.A. and Compton. And the therapy was done on street corners. At fast food joints. Juvenile Halls. Foster homes.
In light of the current societal climate, this project is especially timely.
