Vanity of vanities! It’s all vanity! Thus begins one of the
chapters of the Bible, namely the Book of King Solomon.
In this sense, this story follows Adam, a young poet, and
dreamer to whom vanity is no stranger.
Subjected to his vanity, to his fears that he’s been
neglected and underappreciated by his friends, unable to
find a job, and he is poor, forced to work whatever despite
his writing talent, Adam violates one of God’s commandments
’Don’t steal’ to become significant in the eyes of
those around him. As a result, he suffers the consequences
of his actions.
