Bradford Mara and Victor Van Styke were assingned to the notorious Canal Street district that was located south of the Chicago river. Two honest vice cops who had to work on their own and sometimes going rogue to put in end to the horrible vice and corruption that went on. All the underworld operations were under his control.The politicans and the police captain in the district were on the take. When the men caught the serial killer they were promoted to head the vice section of the police department. Mara and Van Styke couldn't be bribe. Blue Eyes Cosmo informed the police captain to make sure that Mara and Van Styke were assigned to Canal Street.
