Before the war started he was attending the University of Hamburg wher he learned how to fly from a German classmate and friend. When the war started his friend was ordered by the German Air force to trained pilots. During the Battle of Britain Captain Sommers went into a air battle and down his fifth plane. After he was decorated and being praised for his actions from shooting down a well know German pilot. He learned that the fifth plane he shot down was his German freind. Being distraught what happened he was never the same. He went into the SoHo area and started to kill prositutes. Captain Sommers was caught. A decorated war hero and his family connections with the British government this kind of publicity and scandal could hurt the morale and the people who are close to him. British intelligence was ordered to handle the situation. They parachuted him behind enemy lines. The story that was told he volunteer for a secert mission. Captain Sommers was caught put in German prison camp. He escaped and ended at the University of Hamburg posing as German Professor Harold Kemp teaching European literature. Professor Kemp begins his murder spree.
