How about the Lakeland Conference get two teams into the Regionals and Bridgman is not one of them? Which is a bigger surprise: The Shamrocks or The Ranger? To me it is the “Rocks”! The Lakeland Conference has made a believer of The Greek.

The SAC also gets two and no one could have predicted that Gobles and Martin would be this far. Both teams were under .500 and Gobles finished last in the North. I predicted that Saugatuck might be in trouble but getting blown out..... WOW! Didn’t see that coming.

Mattawan finds themselves in one of the toughest regionals in Class A. If the Cats can get by Dexter, they will face either Holt the Defending State Champs or Okemos the #1 ranked team in Class A. I would have rather been shipped over to Detroit.

The Greek chances of defending his title is slipping away. But what can you do when you finish the season as strong as Michigan finished its season. The bad news is there is no NIT for the pick’em.
