Favorite Scene: MY FOOLISH HEART

Susan...sitting alone...feeling rejected at the party after Miriam Ball has made insulting remarks about her dress...She puffs on a cigarette. Not knowing that Dana Andrews is standing behind the fern, watching her, she tosses her lighted cigarette into the fern and nearly sets him on fire.

Later...she says that she is smoking a Parliment. "Do you think Miriam Ball would approve of Parliments"
(Not the exact words, but you got my message)

Susan and Andrews doing the dishes...One gets broken.
This is the "Poor Uncle Wigley" scene...(This hit home to me, since I grew up on the Uncle Wiggley books as a kid.)

Re: Favorite Scene: MY FOOLISH HEART

I have to admit I don't recall too much about each scene in this film, but I will never forget the theme song. This was "gold" back then and still is, particularly among the yucky theme songs of most current movies.
