This is an appropriate day to start watching The Fighting Seabees. This patriotic, 40's flavored Wayne/Hayward film is a classic played on network and cable tv during patriotic holidays.

I love the John Wayne jitterbug scene in this film, and isn't this one of the few films where John Wayne's character actually dies on screen?
