Paritosh has made a wonderful suggestion. For each day of the Navaratri celebration we will consider a quote from Holy Mother. This is one of my favorites.
"I am the Mother of the wicked and the Mother of the virtuous. Whenever you feel in distress say to yourself, 'I have a Mother.'"
The Universal Love of the Mother is what draws us towards Her. The love is unconditinal. No ifs no buts and definitely no value judgement placed on anyone either associated with their past or present or even future.
You are what you are but to the Mother you are always Her child.
Mother, as Navaratri begins bless each one of us here in the courtyard. You know how each one of us is drawn towards you, make sure we stay rooted together, support each other as we make our journey towards you.
On the first day of Navaratri, please accept a red rose from your children here in the courtyard.
