Today is Diwali the festival of lights. It is celebrated as Lakshmi Puja or Kali Puja depending on which part of India you come from.

On this auspicious day I offer flowers to the Mother from all of us here in the courtyard and also send greetings to all my siblings in the courtyard.

I remember a wonderful Sanskrit prayer

Lead us
from untruth to truth
from darkness to light
from death to immortality
