Faith

Mother always shows me in my daily living that She is with me. I wish I would never doubt Her, but I guess it is a process

Re: Faith

Whenever doubt creeps into our minds, it helps to read
a random passage, or more, from the tiny blue book entitled:

"In The Company Of The Holy Mother".
(Available at most Vedanta Centers)

On page 32, one finds abundant reassurance in the following words:

"In her relationship with her disciples Holy Mother was not
a hard disciplinarian. She won their hearts through her love,
which was showered in equal measure upon the virtuous and the
wicked. To those who repented their sinful conduct, she gave
reassurance. To such a one she once said: 'Do not fear, my child.
Always remember that the Master is behind you. I am also with you.
As long as you rememebr me, your mother, why should you be frightened?
The Master said to me, 'In the end I shall certainly liberate those
who come to you'."

-again-

On page 192, we find this jewel:

"It is essential that one should work. It is through work
alone that one may break asunder the bonds of karma.
only then, one is free from desires. One shouldn't be without
work even for a single moment."

-also-

Page 161 contains this priceless instruction
concerning Japa amd meditation:

"Repetiton of the name, paying heed to the number, keeping count
on one's hands, all this is only to bring concentration. The mind
tends to wander, it may perchance be bound by these things.
When after repeating the name one sees God and is lost in meditation,
there is no longer any need for japa. If one can meditate,
that's everything."
