I've been enjoying the discussion of music and movies as I enjoy both. Not long ago I listened to a fun Christian spiritualist lecture comparing country music with biblical teaching about how we are to dance the dance of life without getting caught up in it.
And a Western swami who grew up in the Vedanta tradition literally can see it in most everything. He's given lectures on Vedanta in popular music, in fairy tales, in Alice In Wonderland, in higher math... It is fascinating to me how he truly does see the whole of Western culture through the lens of Vedanta.
