Reminiscences of The Holy Mother!!!

Mahamaya herself had taken birth for the benefit of living beings. To understand the divine play in human form is difficult indeed. How can one understand it unless she in her compassion makes it intelligible to us? What a commonplace life she led! How well concealed – in disguise, as it were.
Our Mother is called Sarada (an appellation of Saraswati, the goddess of learning). Our Mother is Saraswati in person. She imparts knowledge. Knowledge signifies knowing God. True devotion is attainable only when one has knowledge. Without knowledge devotion does not come. Pure knowledge and pure devotion are one and the same. It can be attained only by the grace of Mother. Mother is the sole giver of knowledge. Jiva may attain brahmavidya only if she graciously unlocks the portals leading to it. It is said in the Chandi: sa esha prasanna varada nrinam bhavati muktaye, “That Mahamaya, when pleased grants boons to mankind for spiritual liberation.”
