Reminiscences of The Holy Mother!!!

Nowadays what preposterous stories are circulated by some devotees! It amuses me. Some people ask me, “Did the Holy Mother wear a gold chain around her neck and apply sindoor on the nape of her neck? I tell them, “This is a sheer drive! Mother wore only a pair of gold bangles on her wrists, and round her neck she had a string of rudraksha strung together by a fine chain of gold.” The wife of Swami Keshavananda used to massage Mother’s body with oil. I questioned her about this and she said, “It’s just baseless talk.” Revered Swami Madhavanandaji, the then President of the Math, had said, “The statements of a few disciples of Mother have to be taken with a pinch of salt. Some of their sayings are just nonsense.” I used to pluck grey hair from Mother’s head. I never saw sindoor on her neck.
