Mother As I Saw Her – Swami Saradeshananda
The Mother’s Attitude towards Presents – 01

Many devotees of the Mother brought her numerous presents of varying value according to their financial capacity. But the Mother accepted all with the same joy and expression of pleasure, irrespective of the value of the presents. These expressions of hers were not mere formalities, but the overflow of her loving benediction towards her spiritual children. It went to their very heart, and they considered themselves blessed when they found that even the trifle they offered pleased the Mother so much.
