Mother As I Saw Her – Swami Saradeshananda
The Mother’s Attitude towards Presents – 06

The Mother liked to collect things that would be of daily use to her such as baskets to carry fruits and sweets. Swami Kesavananda of Koalpara used to advise the devotees to offer such things to the Mother. Once a son of hers coming from Barisal, who had been thus advised, brought for the Mother a full tin of kerosene. How elated the Mother was on getting this oil! She was always particular to fulfil the cherished desire of her children to be of some service to her.
