Mother As I Saw Her – Second Part
Swami Saradeshananda
8. The Mother’s Attitude towards Worldly Values – 2

In the morning it was not often that they had good Prasada for breakfast. Muri was the usual breakfast. If devotees and Sadhus from outside were there, they would prepare some Halva, a sweet preparation. But it was difficult to have it every day in the village. The ladies often hesitated to place only Muri before the Sadhus. But the Mother would make these sons very happy and satisfied with Muri alone. Lovingly served with her own hand, most of them would willingly take it, knowing that thereby they were saving the inmates from much trouble.
