HOLY MOTHER by SWAMI SHIVANANDA
She is the Mother of us all, the Mother of the Universe. She has assumed human form to fulfil the purpose of the Master’s divine play. None of us understood Mother. She was so reserved in her self-expression, how could one fathom her divine nature? How could one tell that she was Bhagawati incarnate? Once Master had disclosed to me: “The Mother who dwells in the temple over there, and the Mother in the Nahabat here, are one and non-different.” One should pray to Mother for intense devotion and faith. If she is favourably disposed, she bestows devotion, liberation and all else on the jiva.
