Soon Sri Ramakrishna grew tired of special cooking. He said to the ladies: ‘What a nice fix I am in! The moment I leave bed, I speak of nothing but food. Good God! Now I have lost all relish for food and shall eat whatever you cook.’ Constant purging due to diarrhea made him say one day: ‘The body contains nothing but filth. I am sick of it.’ Thus he lost all interest in his body and paid no heed to it.
