Whenever Sri Ramakrishna hurt Sarada’s feelings, he would somehow make up for it. One day a religious play was to be given in a neighbouring village, Sarada and the other ladies wanted to see it, but the Master refused to give permission and said that he himself would repeat it for them. Sarada was hurt. When the play was over he returned home and re-enacted the whole of it in the minutest detail. Sri Ramakrishna had a sweet musical voice and a remarkable memory, and was besides a fine actor. The ladies of the family forgot their disappointment and were charmed with his mimicry.
