In 1891 she performed the worship of Jagaddhatri, the Divine Mother, at Jayrambati. It appears from her behaviour at that time that she was then fully conscious of her divine nature. Swami Saradananda and a few devotees of the Master came to Jayrambati with the articles of worship. At the sight of her devotees Holy Mother was beside herself with joy. She prepared the vegetables with her own hands and supervised their meals. Shyamasundari also rose to the occasion, regarding the devotees as her grandchildren. She regaled the guests with many stories of Sri Ramakrishna’s life.
