Some of her relatives received initiation from Holy Mother. But she concealed her true nature from the family. One day Nalini said to her: ‘People say that you know the innermost thought of all.’
Mother: ‘Stop! They say such things out of devotion for me. I am nothing.’
Nalini: ‘I don’t believe that. Please tell me what I am thinking just now.’
Mother: ‘Nalini, let us not talk about it. Please pray with me to the Master so that he may completely wipe away from my mind all trace of ego.’ Forthwith Holy Mother began to pray.
