Trona has been pretty sick for quite a while from what I saw when I was there last Oct. But I think it would make a great place to retire to. I also think it has definite possibilities for a comeback. Maybe not to its former glory but at least to be a lot better than it is now. All it needs is some more good people and lots of help. From what I understand there are lots of volunteer opportunities in Trona. And dont forget, Ridgecrest is only 22 miles away. I drive that far here in Sac just to go to a favorite store or whatever.
