POP UP the volume!

This message was initially a reply to a post under "Reissues" thread, however it raised a couple of points worth noting in it's own right:

...Pop-ups!! Yes we used to be a pop-up-free domain, but as things get more complex (Search tool, Forum, Poll, etc) then comes the rub.

I pay for the domain/space plus some parts of these services, but not enough to make it advert free, but there is no income either. So as much as I love the project, it costs some to pull it all together anyway. I'm not complaining, I just hope you and everyone else can live with it until I find some way of making it self supporting...

Anyone want a few hundred switches, regularly (Ha Ha)

Thanks for the endorsement on the switches, they seem to be a good solution!

Cheers, David

Can bet this board is gonna see a lot more traffic when they are reissued! You may wanna do something about the dang popups though

Incidently David, I spent a couple of hours rewiring my HIII yesterday in time for a gig last night using the switches you sold me. I swear I can almost do this blindfolded now. Anyway, they work perfectly and seem very hard-wearing. The fact that they're black even makes them a better replacement than Jaguar switches as there's no shiny silver bits where there shouldn't be. If that makes sense.
The HIII rocks with a vengeance, although I forgot about the absence of side-dots until the soundcheck, still, sloppy ultra-fast solos are what rock's about I guess.
