Black Hagstrom Deluxe Bass

Also on Ebay is my black Deluxe Bass, 512xxx, from 1961 200943223435
You may of seen, or maybe even have, a red sparkle one, or a blue one, but have you seen a black one? Even in pictures? (If so, send it to me)
Besides the fact I think the Hagstrom badge was painted black for the Darth Vader look, there is also the issue of someone removing the frets, and filling in the slot with epoxy. Was always meaning to get it refretted, but never got around to it. It plays very well, I used to have a Hagstrom fretless jazz bass, but seemed to always sound like Jaco Pastorius, while this one sounds like a normal bass.

Listed at $2400 obo, I can be very very flexible in price.

Make me an offer!!!

Re: Black Hagstrom Deluxe Bass

Is this bass still for sale?

Best Regards,

Hans
