Do you like your Viking?

I posted about my new Viking 8 weeks ago...one reply, 90 views. Chatty bunch, you.

I think my son has a chance to buy a used Viking super cheap, but he thinks they feel cheap too. He can't play mine 'cause I'm a lefty. He at least appreciates the tone, just can't play it to see if it 'fits' him. He just bought a nice Dearmond but if this deal may be too good to pass up.

Do you new Viking owners find your guitar as fun and easy to play as I do? I own three high-end guitars (Fender and two Gibsons) and I enjoy my Viking and play it the most.

What say ya'll?

Re: Do you like your Viking?

I don't have a new Viking (have two vintage), but I do have a D2F, HJ-600, HL-550 and a parlor acoustic and I don't think they feel cheap at all. A good deal, is a good deal whatever the brand. If you can get it for cheap and your son doesn't like it, I'm sure you can at least break even on Ebay. Chances are, once he gets his hands on it, he'll end up liking it.

Re: Do you like your Viking?

Hi there. Ive just bought a black Viking, probably a year old, in mint condition. Its so beautifull and stunning, not sure i wanna play it just look at it!! But it feels great, sits very well on my lap, not to end-heavy, neck is perfect, its just an overall amazing guitar. so looking forward to playing and getting to know it. Am a lefty so its a rare beast, and sold my Epiphone Dot to get it, but so glad i did. The Dot felt cheap and nasty compared to the Viking.
