Review of the Biker Poets & Writers Anthology AKA Rubber Side Down

Be sure to read the cutting edge Review of the Biker Poets & Writers Anthology AKA Rubber Side Down by K. Peddlar Bridges (copy-edited by MarySusan Williams-Migneault/RHP). Peddlar, one of the editors of the anthology, has set perhaps a precedent by reviewing Rubber Side Down of which he is a contributor and editor himself. Unlike the many reviews you can find of this anthology (published by Archer Books, CA 2008) Peddlar's Review extends beyond a favored few and introduces us to several other Biker Poets that were published in the anthology. He offers a critique of the works contained in the anthology from a Biker Poet's standpoint who has published and edited Biker Poets and their work since the late eighties and has himself been published since before the eighties in various venues. His first chapbook came out the same year that Martin Jack Rosenblum (The Holy Ranger) published his first poetry book. Just as Peddlar's Biker Poetry takes the reader off road with him as he cuts away from the ordinary highways and byways and searches for the undiscovered trail, the Review breaks new ground. Very interesting approach indeed. And good to see so many other Biker Poets getting a proper wave of respect.
