we have some really old patt 123 lights that hadnt been cleaned in years. We decided to take them down yester day and clean them. We took the lights completely apart to clean each individual part. We came across a question.
The inside of the light (behind the mirror) was black. After rubbing it with a wet cloth what looked like dirt came off and silver shone through. We began cleaning the resot of it until someone told us we had just peeled off the paint.
What colour should the inside of the patt 123 behind the mirror be? dark or silver?
