Hi Martin, we have had several of these lanterns, but all with the larger P40 prefocus lampbase. You can occasionally pick up old lamps that will fit, but it might be worthwhile substituting a more modern lampholder; you could then uprate them to something like a 1200 watt T29 Halogen lamp. I'd be interested to see a photo, though, showing the colour changers. Where did they come from? Best wishes, Bob M.
