I have finally finished my new story, "Gunfight." It will be a while before I begin to post it, as it must go through the editing and proofreading phases, but at least the hard part is done.
I am so grateful to all of you for your patience. This story has taken a long time to write due to some obstacles I had to overcome in real life. Your encouragement has kept me going.
Check in here, and I shall keep you posted on the editing and proofing processes.
All the best,
Debby K
Yeah!!!! I'm so glad I checked today to see what was new. Knowing that you have finished a new story gives me something to look forward to. The title alone has me wondering all kinds of things. I know the rest of the process has to live up to your high standards, but that's what makes them all so wonderful. I hope you can now relax a bit, and that things are better for you overall. Thanks for hanging in there because so many people depend on you to keep M&S alive for all of us.
Thanks for your good wishes, Marydee. There is a lot of drama in this story, but I have also included what I hope readers will find to be humorous.
All the best,
Debby K
HURRAH Debby!
It's 01:28 am here in Paris so it's already March 1st - and your announcement is the BEST NEWS EVER to start a new month!
Marydee said that
"so many people depend on you to keep M&S alive for all of us"
how much this phrase sounds true... Where would The Quinn Spirit be without The Deb K Saga?
HURRAH (again!) Sorry about this flood of enthusiasm but I'm so happy right now...
Debby, that's wonderful news !!! I'm so looking forward to reading about Michaela and Sully's newest adventure and to meeting all the others again !!! May I ask how many chapters the story has?? I can't wait to look for a daily chapter again!!! Thank you so much for brightening my weekend !!
WOW WOW I'm so happy to read that it is almost here.
Thanks Debby for the new story,I am sure that it will be worth the waiting like always.I'm glad that I check here today. I hope that everything is better now in your life.
WOW I can hardly wait.
Janet,
Thanks for your exuberance! The story has now gone to the proofreader. There is still no timetable for its posting, but it's one step closer.
All the best,
Debby K
How long did it take me to read all the chapters? About 6 months. They are addicting! I love how you have developed the characters like how Hank and Lexie have come together, and that Matthew and Emma have Michael. I wish Sully did not have to leave so much... but I guess that adds to addiction... ya can't wait for him to get home to Michaela! Are you planning on writing more stories?
Sue
Hi, Sue. Thanks for stopping by and sharing your thoughts. 6 months to read all of them? Wow. Of course, then I realize it's taken me over 10 years to write them.
Yes, I have a new story in mind. I have a little bit written, but it's very much still in its infancy stages. Each story is like a child to me, so they take a while to develop. When I first started, I averaged about 10 stories per year. Now, I'm happy if I get two completed. Ah, the mind slows I guess.
I appreciate hearing from you and hope that you continue to stop back and revisit my stories.
All the best,
Debby K
i'm sorry for being late to post a comment about your new story, but I wanted to read again all your storys since the beginning, once again.
It is a true happiness to find what happens for Michaela and Sully and their family and friends.
thanks so much for keeping alive ours Colorado Spring.
I already looking forward for your new story , with Michaela and Sully climbing Pike's Peak .
I hope ,Coleen can one day find happiness again, and Preston will understand one day that never he can equal Sully.
